Amanda Mahaney serves as Vice President in Business Banking for Comerica Bank. Initiating her career in 2000 with Comerica's Credit Training Program, upon completion, she was appointed Relationship Manager in the Business Banking - Richardson group. Amanda's current role responsibilities include, managing a client portfolio, new business development, and mentoring junior lenders.
Amanda's widely-respected commitment to her clients and prospects are evident by her consultative approach that allows her to become a trusted advisor and friend to many business owners. Due to the expertise she garnered during the Credit Training Program, Amanda customizes each banking relationship to match her client's needs. This technique has allowed her to be extremely successful at Comerica by building her own client base to approximately $75,000,000 and producing $15,000,000 in new sales annually.

In addition to her sales contributions, Amanda is a strong mentor and leader for junior lenders and credit analysts within the bank. She participates in Comerica's Mentor Program, teaches training courses, oversees sales meetings, and interviews new credit analysts. She actively seeks new opportunities to "give back" to the bank and community. For example, she has had key leadership roles in Comerica's community activities, such as, the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, & Junior Achievement.
For the past two years, Amanda has served as leader of Team Networking Central Business District (CBD) chapter, a noted business organization for experienced professionals in the Dallas area. Amanda's responsibilities include, scheduling and programming of weekly meetings, recruiting new members, serving on the Board of Directors and managing member challenges. During her tenure as leader, the CBD chapter has generated over $15,000,000 in closed business.
Amanda's focus and tenacity are not solely demonstrated within her career; she is equally focused maintaining a work-life balance. As a working mom to three young girls, she actively participates in the school PTA, manages two soccer teams, and teaches Sunday School for her church. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family, running and yoga.
